In recent years the demands of the user on the technology and engineering of fine grinding, lapping and polishing machines have increased significantly.
Besides the highest degree of accuracy, high removal rates and short process times are the focal points. In thinking a step ahead of the constantly growing demands, through mechanisation we have developed the innovative machine concept FLP "HIGH PRECISION" which opens up new dimensions of accuracy in terms of fine grinding, lapping and polishing.
The cornerstones of this innovative solution are a granite machine chassis which is deflection and distortion free, the use of strong damping materials and special non-wearing bearings with a high level of long-term accuracy, the utilisation of torque-stable, detached drives as well as the deployment of thermally stable tool carriers.
The new machine concept is complemented by an innovative measurement system which combines several controller-linked individual systems. The machines can also be complemented as required by additional modules (automation, feed tables, filters, cooling systems etc.); it is possible to integrate the machine into a process control system.
PRESENTATION AT THE EMO 2013 IN HANNOVER
More visitors, more customer contacts, more enquiries! This was the conclusion of Managing Director Thomas Rehfeldt as he summed up the FLP Microfinishing GmbH trade fair presence at the EMO 2013 in Hannover. This year, too, FLP was able to introduce its fine grinding, lapping and polishing machines to the international specialist public. The visitors showed particularly keen interest in the presentation of a world first – the FLP 660 HIGH PRECISION.
"Besides establishing new business contacts, EMO once again offered the opportunity of dialogue with our customers and suppliers" said Thomas Rehfeldt.
